Kicking off in 2019 as a rugby festival, the event has evolved to include Men’s and Women’s Rugby, Golf, Mixed and Women’s’ Netball, Touchies, Dodgeball and a Color Run! All seriously cool events that worked well, but with WeBuyCars on board, we’d like to amp the ’24 presentation up even more!
This year, we’re introducing a Summer Slam category, meaning, YOU CAN ENTER ON THE DAY! No serious planning or training needed! With the exception of Golf, Rugby & Netball, this goes for all the above events BUT we’re adding Tug-of-War and Air Rifle Target Shooting to the menu!
The Festivities will Tee off on 13 Dec ’24 with the WeBuyCars George TENS Golf Day. Hosted at Pinnacle Point Golf Estate, this is a bucket list item not to be missed!
The rugby & netball coaching clinics will follow suit on Monday, 16 Dec!
These clinics are open to all scholars, rugby fanatics, students, and coaches and is presented free of charge! And no, that’s not a typo…. All you need to do to attend, is register on the georgetens.co.za website!
We also have to mention that our netball presentation this year, will allow school teams to consist of three different age groups! This means that your teams can consist of players from three consecutive age groups!
Not only will the festival feature top notch sporting activities, but the Festival Village will be rocking. Secure your tickets now for the line-up featuring Blacky Swart, Etienne Steyn, Droomsindroom, Synth Peter & Early B!
The majority of events will be presented at Outeniqua Park, with the sole idea to offer a lot more, to a much wider audience. Hence the reason why we are moving the ’24 dates to 17 – 20 December, providing you with the perfect holiday offering FOR THE ENTIRE FAMILY!
Oh, and did we mention we are setting up a Tent Village? Laerskool George-Suid are the gracious hosts to this set-up and it’s the perfect low-cost accommodation option!
