About George TENS

Kicking off in 2019 as a rugby only festival, this year’s events will include Men’s and Women’s Rugby, Golf, Netball, Trail running, Mountain Biking, Touchies and Beach Volleyball!

Presented in collaboration with The George Municipality the festival will be returning to Outeniqua Park and surrounds, from 15 – 18 December 2022.

Co-founded by former Springbok Coach Heyneke Meyer and IG van der Merwe, the 2022 presentation will not only feature top notch sporting activities, but the Festival Village, situated at Outeniqua Park, will be rocking with the likes of Spoegwolf and Early B!

The Festivities will Tee off on 15 December ’22 with two George TENS Golf Days, on Oubaai & Pinnacle Point Golf Estates.

And yes, you read correctly, the Touchies and Beach Volleyball festival is the new addition to the TENS.  This will be presented on Wilderness Beach, Wilderness!

The Netball and Women’s and Men’s rugby will be presented at Outeniqua Park on 16, 17 & 18 Dec.

The Mountain Biking and Trail Running events is set to make a comeback, after floods halted these two events in 2021.   These events are now set to take place on the 17th and 18th of December respectively, set on routes sure to boast some of the most awe-inspiring views of the picturesque landscape of the Garden Route.
